Tim still works as a Clinical Prosthetist, but manages to find time to play bass guitar in the church worship group, keep up with the events of the F1 racing calendar, watch some historic racing at Oulton Park, cheer on the England Rugby team and keep his garden tidy, amongst other things.

PlaceholderMichael & Sylvia Garry (Church Leader)
Michael and his wife Sylvia started attending Hattersley Community Church in spring 2007 after they had sensed a call to worship back in Hattersley.
Prior to this they had been involved in church life in Oldham.  There they had been involved in a homeless ministry and a Christian charity shop that reached out to Muslims, and they worshipped in an Iranian fellowship.
Michael became a church leader of Hattersley Community Church in January 2009 and is involved in preaching, leading a small group and evangelism.
In his free time Michael loves to go out driving in the country, or to the beach, and sampling the local fish and chips!

PlaceholderSimon and Sandra Davidson (Leader)
After worshipping at MEC for 2.5 years, Simon and Sandra moved to Hattersley in October 2001 to volunteer with the newly launched EDEN Project and become part of the fellowship of the new Hattersley Community Church.
At that time Simon was working full time in hotel management but in May 2004 became a full
time Youth & Community Worker, working along side the EDEN Team Leader.
In September 2008 Simon was made the EDEN Team Leader.
Simon became a church leader in January 2009 and is involved in preaching and leading the church youth group.
Simon can be usually found either climbing a mountain, skiing down a mountain or diving in warm water - in fact the more dangerous the activity the more he enjoys it!
