WalkingWalking

Walking isn't just good exercise; it's convenient, is free to participate, you can burn a few calories, spend time in nature, become more mindful of God's great creation and get to know what makes your fellow walkers tick. Some of us at Mottram Evangelical Church walk (just a local, couple of hours) most weeks. We're never looking to achieve 'extreme' status. Come rain or shine (and we get a fair share of both) we just enjoy it. We also organise walks at weekends for larger groups that may take all day and take us out of our own backyard.

Walking

19th October 2013 – Godley/Werneth Low/Compstall

Our next walk will be the usual 5 country miles and starts from Station Road, Godley at 10am.

We will be walking over Werneth Low into Compstall and then skirting around the golf course back to Godley.

There’s every chance it will be muddy in parts, so good footwear and clothing is essential. This is a hilly walk so probably not suitable for small children. Flask and butties are a must!

Walks are advertised through the church website but MEC accepts no liability. All walks are organised with safety and enjoyment in mind: and each one has been assessed by me. Martyn Catterall – Administrator Mottram Evangelical Church
